Running Start

Last night was a Running Start info meeting up at BCC. Jim, Alex and I went. Alex turned in his application and as soon as he gets his BCC ID# he should be able to register to take the COMPASS test. He's excited and so am I. It is such a great opportunity that I wish I would have had. It's weird though that Alex will pretty much be starting college in the fall, though. We're gonna take it one step at a time. Funny thing was that when they were talking about clubs on campus, the first one she mentioned was the Super Mario Smash Brothers! Hmmm college?? I told him no clubs 1st quarter till we know if he can handle it or not. When they mentioned cons, the big one was text books. Yes, tuition is free, but textbooks and class fees are still our responsibility. No big con there since we always pay for our books! I just don't have to buy the teacher manuals, too!

Our 16th Anniversary was March 3rd!

Jim brought me a beautiful bouquet of red roses. Then we went to dinner at The Tantalus in Issaquah for some awesome Greek food. I ventured out and tried something new. They have a wonderful lemon soup with rice and egg. YUMMY! The Chicken Tahini was good too. But of course the absolute best was the Baklava! Doesn't it just look yummy?

The Lord has blessed our marriage in so many ways and it is just amazing to celebrate so many years together. I have such a wonderful famly.

Earhart Adoption Day was March 1st!

This year we decided to go to the Museum of Flight. Love the coupons. All three boys had a great time. We've been wanting to go onto the Concord and the 707 Air Force One. They loved the WWI and WWII exhibits. We followed the tour up with a trip to Dairy Queen.
