The kids had a day of fun with their presents and games. We had a ham and good food, but I'm not sure that Cameron ate anything other than cookies and candy. Alex did have a big bowl of mashed potatoes. We keep it all low key on Christmas. We just enjoyed the day together.
Now Alex is off at High School Winter Camp with the church. They are off in the snow at Mt Baker. I'm sure that he is having a great time. We were going to start driver's ed in January, but the class is full, so it looks like he'll start in February.
Speaking of driving, Cameron has spent the last 2 days with a racing game he rented. He loves driving fast on the wrong side of the road and crashing as big as possible! Guess who will not be getting their license till they are 30!

Wonderful Winter
Here it is the 9th of December. We're having some snow showers off and on. We started December with a beautiful snow fall, that unfortunately did not stick. Today it's in th 30's and we are headed to the Union Gospel Mission party. The cool air just adds to the feeling of Christmas. It is being held down at the Piazza and Cameron is looking forward to seeing all the trees lit up so bright. My favorite part of the party is when they read the Christmas story from the bible. The true meaning of Christmas being celebrated at an employee party.

THANKSgiving!
We had such a wonderful thanksgiving with our friends. We ate till we were stuffed! There was so much good food. We all wrote what we were thankful for and had such a great time laughing with each other. It's always fun at the Grosso's!
I am thankful for God, my family & my friends. We have so many great people in our lives to be thankful for.

Fun Night with the Boys!
Alex has a new responsibility around the house now. He plans, shops for and cooks one meal a week. Last night he planned for tonight's dinner and we went shopping. It was fun. Nice together time. We'll be having a spinach and cheese ravioli and fruit salad tonight. I'm looking forward to it. It's a little complex so I might be helping him out some.
Cammy decided he wanted to lead our devotion last night. He used the devotion that we had done earlier in his school work. He read the bible verse, questions and prayer, while I read the story and helped him with the hard words. He even directed the questions properly.
They are really growing up!

Welcome to our new blog page!
How is everyone? I pray that each of you are doing well. Here is a little update on us:
Jim is still working on painting that house. It's taken a lot longer with all the rain. We're looking forward to his finishing up we have more time together. We did go see the new Ten Commandments movie last weekend. Great timing since we've been watching the 1956 version with the kids as part of our evening devotions.
Alex has had an annoying cold. He's doing good with high school in the homeschool world. We're using a new curriculum and he seems to enjoy it. He's also working hard at quiz team. They are memorizing Phillipians and the first 3 chapters of Galations. We're looking into driver's ed. Scary!
Cameron is on a roll! last week he broke his 12th and 13th pair of glasses! Woo! Hoo! He always breaks them on his face, but doesn't get hurt??? We bought him a chin up bar to play inside on. He loves it. He can do 3-4 chin ups. Strong kid! He also loves to hang upside down on it. He's taking 3 classes at Heritage Homeschool Co-op. 1st grade is going well.
Melanie....I am working hard with the homeschooling this year. Kindergarten we didn't do a lot, but now it's 1st & 9th grade! I love it! I just started working part time down the street doing bookkeeping and answering the phones. I've been doing a couple of bible studies that I am enjoying. I'm also knitting (not with needles, just a loom!) I've also been getting into pink these days. In a house full of testosterone I needed my girly side to come back. I have a pink iPod, pink PDA case, pink cell phone and I just got new tennis shoes with pink on them!
I want to praise God for His many blessings:
Cameron not getting hurt when he broke his glasses.
Alex watching Cameron so i can work.
Jim providing us with a good spiritual leader.
For all my friends and family that love, listen, support & respect me.
